Student Achievement Awards 2019–2020

This year, OSSTF/FEESO, the sponsor of the Student Achievement Awards in honour of Marion Drysdale, is proud to announce our 2019–2020 theme, “One Strong Woman.”

You all know One Strong Woman—mother, sister, teacher, activist, grandmother, best friend – who has guided, inspired and encouraged you to move forward in your life.  OSSTF/FEESO wants you to share her with us.  How has that One Strong Woman impacted your life?

Get inspired by this year’s theme, “One Strong Woman,” and write a poem, short story or essay. Or, create a drawing or painting that explores the theme. We even have a category for digital productions such as videos and songs. Share your creative vision with the world!

The provincial winners from each of our nine categories will receive a cash award of $1000 and will be invited to the Ontario Secondary School Teachers’ Federation’s Annual Meeting of the Provincial Assembly (AMPA) in Toronto to receive their awards.  The Student Achievement Awards celebrate the work of OSSTF/FEESO members (teachers and education workers) and their students.

Learn more about the Student Achievement Awards, and determine which of the categories you want to enter, at www.osstf.on.ca/studentachievementawards or contact:

Tracey Marshall via email Tracey.Marshall@osstf.ca or at Provincial Office 1-800-267-7867.

Please submit only original writing and artwork.  Work that includes copyrighted material cannot be considered.

    Hi,
Just wondering if you could send me the due date for the 2020 Marion Drysdale Awards? Also, for drawings and paintings, what are the size stipulations? Thanks
