COVID-19 vaccine joint OSSTF/FEESO and COVID-19 Resources Canada Q and A sessions
Over the past year, COVID-19 has presented Ontarians with many challenges and questions. Lockdowns, school closures, and living in a virtual COVID-19 world have created many difficulties for OSSTF/FEESO members, parents, and communities.
OSSTF/FEESO has collaborated with COVID-19 Resources Canada to provide members and their families, parents, and community partners with an opportunity to have their questions answered about the COVID-19 vaccines.
COVID-19 Resources Canada is a grassroots initiative, started in March 2020 intending to facilitate Canada’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic. They are a dedicated team of multi-disciplinary Canadians with expertise ranging from biomedical research to web-development and business analysis, virtually working together to execute on COVID-19 Resources Canada’s vision and mission.
OSSTF/FEESO, in conjunction with COVID-19 Resources Canada, is facilitating free COVID-19 vaccine information sessions for OSSTF/FEESO members and their families, parents, and community partners. The team at COVID-19 Resources Canada simply wishes to share truthful, concise information on the currently offered COVID-19 vaccines in order to address vaccine hesitancy and misinformation.
In each of the sessions, there will be a scientist, a clinician, and a moderator to monitor the session and chat. There will be a brief introduction to COVID-19 Resources Canada, the grassroots organization running the nightly and special vaccine Q&A sessions. They will introduce the experts, from around the world, on the calls and then they will answer any questions you might have relating to COVID-19 and the safety of the vaccines.
