Words Matter Campaign on October 21, 2024.

At this event, you will:
- Collaborate with Peers: Work with your school team, other educators and community partners to identify barriers and brainstorm solutions.
- Campaign Launch: Hear and share experiences on the challenges to addressing harmful language.
- Implementation Planning: Dive into practical steps for implementing the campaign in your school community.
- Networking Opportunities: Engage in role-specific discussions with educators, administrators, and community partners.
- Interactive Sessions: Participate in activities like affirmation cards, collaborative drawing, and breakout discussions. See live demonstrations of the campaign resources and activities that you can implement in your school.
OSSTF/FEESO Districts/Bargaining Units and members can apply for funding using Account 2018 (Equity and Anti-Racism Training–Districts/Bargaining Units) and Account 2890 (Equity and Anti-Racism Training–Members). The application forms for these accounts are available for download below.
