Ontario Federation of Labour Convention—We Are One—November 17–21, 2025

The 18th Biennial Convention of the Ontario Federation of Labour (OFL) will be held from Monday, November 17 to Friday, November 21, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily (adjournment of noon on November 21).
As an affiliate of the OFL, OSSTF/FEESO and its Members recognize the important role that a central body can play in uniting labour across Ontario to work together politically and in
solidarity. The debates and decisions made during the upcoming convention will significantly impact its future direction.
There will be an election for OFL Officer positions and the various equity caucuses. OSSTF/FEESO wants to send a strong and diverse delegation of representatives from Districts across the province to participate in these debates and decisions.
Specific information about the agenda, candidates, and policy papers, as well as details regarding OSSTF/FEESO caucus meetings and other events, are available from your Bargaining Unit President.
Allocation and Registration of OSSTF/FEESO District Delegates
Each District is responsible for developing a local mechanism for the selection of its Delegate(s) and is encouraged to check the constitution for the process of selecting Delegates. You are encouraged to look at welcoming Equity Seeking, Sovereign, and Young Worker Members to participate.
Please note that local Delegate allocations do not include any Members attending as representatives to OFL committees or as a Labour Council President. In total there will be 80 delegates attending from OSSTF/FEESO Districts and up to 10 members (mentors and mentees) from the Equity Mentorship Program, as well as OSSTF Provincial Executive and Staff. Members from the Equity Mentorship Program will not be counted as part of the District Delegate complement.
Delegates to the OFL Convention should be selected from those who represent and attend labour councils on behalf of their Bargaining Units. If you’re involved with your local labour council and interested in becoming a Delegate to the OFL, please contact your Bargaining Unit President, who will direct you to the contact in your District who is organizing the OFL Delegation.
As representatives of OSSTF/FEESO, Delegates will be expected to attend all sessions of the
Convention, as well as scheduled OSSTF/FEESO virtual or in person caucus meetings.
A Member who is considering standing for election to an OFL leadership position at the convention, including those elected in an equity caucus meeting, should note that the Provincial Executive must be informed by September 26, 2025. Advance notice and endorsement by OSSTF/FEESO are required if the member wishes to put their name forward for an elected position. Please contact Tracey Marshall for information regarding endorsement.
