Student Achievement Awards 2026

OSSTF/FEESO is pleased to announce the opening of the annual Student Achievement Awards. This year, our Student Achievement Awards theme is “2Gether > 1 (Together Is Greater Than One). Two bilingual posters and information documents were delivered to each workplace during the beginning of September to promote both the $1,000 provincial prizes and this year’s theme. Included in each package sent to workplaces was an infographic outlining the application process, tips for both students and supporting staff members, a student announcement template to generate interest in the school, and student and supporting staff member letter templates to guide both the student and staff member in their descriptive letter.

We are encouraging students, with the support of an OSSTF/FEESO member who has worked directly with them, to submit an original piece of writing, visual art or media based on this year’s theme, 2Gether > 1.

Schools must submit their winning entries to local district offices no later than November 19, 2025. Remember that student’s work must first go to your local District office, not directly to provincial office. District offices will then submit their winning pieces to the provincial office by December 5, 2025. Finally, provincial winners will be acknowledged and celebrated at our OSSTF/FEESO Annual Meeting of the Provincial Assembly (AMPA) in March 2026.
