Call for Contributors—Education Forum: Volume 52, Issue 1

Education Forum is inviting OSSTF/FEESO members to contribute to its upcoming edition, which will explore how book banning and censorship continue to shape public education in Ontario and beyond, from restricted reading materials to the broader implications for equity, inclusion, and academic freedom.

Members are invited to submit a proposal or first-draft article (approximately 1500 words) that examines this theme through practice, policy, or personal reflection.

Submitting a piece does not guarantee publication. All Submissions will be reviewed by the editorial board for overall theme alignment.

We also welcome interest in writing a short (500-word) book review on recent works exploring censorship, as well as contributions to the Bargaining Unit Boost section, which highlights local initiatives supporting publicly funded education.
