It’s Here! Your *NEW* OSSTF/FEESO Digital Membership Card
We are excited to share that your brand-new Digital Membership Card is officially here.
As an OSSTF/FEESO member, you have access to a wide range of services. They span the professional and protective needs of all members. In addition, there are several other services and products that members may choose to access.
Educators Financial Group has exclusively served members of the education community and their immediate family members for over 30 years with services such as planning, investing, and lending.
Ontario Teachers’ Insurance Plan (OTIP/RAEO) provides insurance and group benefit services for education employees and retirees. OTIP/RAEO is a non-profit organization owned and jointly governed by a Board of Trustees representing Ontario’s four education affiliates (AEFO, ETFO, OECTA and OSSTF/FEESO). Each year, OTIP awards twelve $1,500 academic bursaries to six female and six male students across Ontario through an online application.
Edvantage offers great rewards and discounts to education employees and their families through partnerships with retailers and businesses throughout Ontario. Your OSSTF/FEESO membership card serves a dual purpose as your association card and your Edvantage membership card.
Teachers Life offers life insurance to the education community. This insurance company started as a compassionate group of secondary school educators, who believed in the advantages of helping each other.
How to Request the New OSSTF/FEESO Digital Membership Card
Step 1: | Start by logging in to your OSSTF/FEESO account using your member credentials on the secure member site at www.osstf.on.ca. |
Step 2: | Once you’re in the member portal, select “My Profile” on the right-hand side of the navigation menu. |
Step 3: | Select “Request Digital Membership Card” |
Step 4: | “Confirm” or “Update” the email address where you would like your Digital Membership Card sent. Selecting “Update Email” will return you to the “My Profile” page to update your email address. (Note: Using a non-employer email is preferred. Where an employer email is provided, members may not receive union privileged or member confidential communications from OSSTF/FEESO). |
Step 5: | Click “Proceed” to allow the system to process your digital membership card request. |
Step 6: | When processing is complete, click “Close”. |
Step 7: | Check your email for the “Digital Membership Card package” and follow the included instructions to add your card to either your “Apple” or “Google Wallet” on your mobile device. Note: Digital Membership Cards are not accessible on iPads. (Optional) To “print” your digital membership card, save the PDF version of the card and print. |
Step 8: | If the request for your OSSTF/FEESO Digital Membership Card is unsuccessful, an “Error Code” will be displayed. Please write the “Error Code” down and contact membership-database@osstf.ca, for further assistance. |

How to Add Your New Digital OSSTF/FEESO Membership Card to Your Digital Wallet
Step 1: | On your “iPhone” or “Android” device, open the email with the Digital Membership Card attachment. On your “iPhone” tap the attachment ending in “.pkpass.” or On your “Android”, tap Download Google Wallet Pass. If prompted, choose the Google account you want to use. Then tap “Save” or “Add to Google Wallet.” You can also choose to “pin your card” for quick access in Google Wallet. |
If you don’t see your Google Wallet, don’t worry! Install the app from the Play Store and try again. Note: Some older devices or regions may not support a digital google wallet. (Optional) You can save or print the PDF version for your records if you prefer not to use a digital wallet. Remember: Digital cards refresh automatically, while PDF cards show expiry dates and must be kept up-to-date manually. | |
