Invitation for Applications: High School Too Advisory Work Group

OSSTF/FEESO members are invited to apply to join the High School Too Advisory Work Group, an important initiative focused on strengthening consent culture and addressing gender-based violence in Ontario secondary schools. The advisory work group brings together education workers and project partners to support care-centred, trauma-informed approaches to respond to disclosures of sexual harassment and sexual assault in school communities.

High School Too is a two-year, province-wide, student-led initiative developed in response to the #MeToo movement and growing calls from students for meaningful action around consent, accountability, and safety in schools. Through collaboration with community and student partners, OSSTF/FEESO’s participation reflects the Federation’s ongoing commitment to equity, student well-being, and safe learning environments for all.

Two OSSTF/FEESO Members will be selected to serve on the advisory work group from February 2026 to June 2027. Selected Members will contribute their professional expertise to the development and review of resources that support education workers in responding to disclosures with care, clarity and appropriate referrals. Participation will include approximately six to seven virtual meetings over the course of the project.

Note: The advisory work group meetings will be conducted in English.

Applications must be submitted by 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday,  February 4, 2026.

For more information, please refer to D/BU Memo #088.
