Ontario Legislature Returns: What OSSTF/FEESO Members Should Know
After an extended 14-week break, the Ontario Legislative Assembly resumed its spring sitting on March 23, marking the return of debate, committee work, and key decisions that can affect publicly funded education and public services. As the Legislature gets back to work, OSSTF/FEESO members may wish to follow proceedings closely and stay informed about upcoming milestones.
Staying informed and engaged during the spring sitting helps ensure that members’ voices remain part of the broader provincial conversation.
Key Dates and Parliamentary Calendar

In the coming weeks, members can expect activity around spring budget discussions, the introduction and debate of new legislation, and the continuation of standing committee hearings. Estimates committee reviews, where ministries are questioned on spending plans, are also an important period for accountability.
