All permanent contract Teachers and Education Workers belonging to OSSTF/FEESO Districts 1-33 who bargain under the School Board Collective Bargaining Act are eligible to enrol in an OSSTF Benefits Plan. OSSTF Long-Term Occasional Teachers (LTOs), Adult Day school Teachers and OSSTF/FEESO Long-Term Assignment Education Workers (LTAs) working in assignments of 90 calendar days or longer in these Districts are also eligible to participate in an OSSTF/FEESO ELHT Benefits Plan for the duration of their assignments. For more details on eligibility visit the OSSTF Benefits Website at FAQs – OSSTF Benefits.

Members in OSSTF/FEESO Districts 34 and 35 as well as all OSSTF/FEESO Daily Occasional Teachers are not eligible to participate in an OSSTF Benefits Plan.

OSSTF/FEESO members participating in an OSSTF Benefits Plan may also enrol their eligible dependants for coverage under the plan. View the definition of an eligible dependant here FAQs – OSSTF Benefits.

Eligible members will receive an email with an enrolment invite, and must make their application for health and or dental benefits within 31 days of receiving this invite in order to have coverage without late applicant restrictions. Enrolment help | OTIP RAEO
