Long Term Disability Advisory Work Group vacancies

The Provincial Executive is seeking to fill three (3) vacancies on the Long Term Disability Advisory Work Group. Each vacancy will be for a three-year term. Two of the members selected must be from a District whose Long Term Disability (LTD) plan is underwritten by the Ontario Teachers Insurance Plan (OTIP). The remaining member must be from District 9, Greater Essex, District 12, Toronto or District 19, Peel where LTD is underwritten by Teachers Life. The members must be from the provincial OSSTF/FEESO LTD Plan and must be from teacher Bargaining Units.

Bylaw 12.6.14.1 states that:

The Provincial OSSTF/FEESO LTD Advisory Work Group shall advise the Provincial Executive on any matters related to the Provincial OSSTF/FEESO LTD Plan and such other matters as may be referred to it by the Provincial Executive.

The Long Term Disability Advisory Work Group consists of representatives from Bargaining Units representing teachers who are members of the plan. The Work Group meets a minimum of two times annually, with additional meetings held as necessary.

Application Process:
Any teacher member in good standing with OSSTF/FEESO who is interested in applying for the Long Term Disability Advisory Work Group must complete the application form. [see below]
