Ontario Federation of Labour—May 1, 2022, Province-Wide Day of Action

On May 1, 2022, join the fight for a better Ontario. OSSTF/FEESO, in partnership with the Ontario Federation of Labour (OFL) and other affiliates, will be holding province-wide Day of Action rallies/events across Ontario to celebrate and mobilize workers. There are 13 main rally/event locations that OSSTF/FEESO will be focusing on. Provincial Executive and/or Provincial Office staff will be present at the 13 locations.

Members are encouraged to join an action close to them and wear “Red for Ed” at the rally/event. Please connect with your District’s point person coordinating with your local labour council and transportation to and from events happening on May 1. Districts and members living adjacent to Toronto may want to attend the event being held at Queen’s Park.

Sudbury – Rally 1:00 p.m. Tom Davies Square and Memorial Park – 200 Brady Street, Greater Sudbury.

Toronto – Rally and March to Queen’s Park Meet at Heydon Park SS, 70 D’Arcy Street, Toronto.  Meet at 12:00 p.m. (noon), depart at approximately 1:40 p.m. to march to Queen’s Park.
Windsor – Rally 1:00 p.m. Charles Park Square, 215 Chatham Street East.

SAVE THE DATE! MAY 28, 2022

There will be an all-member rally in support of Public Services. OSSTF/FEESO, Ontario Nurses Association (ONA) and Service Employees International Union (SEIU) are organizing this event on May 28, 2022, at Queen’s Park in Toronto. More information will be forthcoming.
