Call for applicants —OSSTF/FEESO’s Mediation Services Resource Bank (MSRB)

OSSTF/FEESO is unique among unions as it provides mediation services to members who find themselves in serious workplace conflict with other members. These services are provided by a team of mediators who are trained in several types of conflict resolution. MSRB’s mediators are OSSTF/FEESO Members who come from a range of job classes, geographic areas, and experiences. We are currently looking to fill vacancies on the MSRB and encourage interested Members to consider applying.

Applicants must be able to obtain a time release from their employer (that would be paid for by OSSTF/FEESO), be willing to receive mediation and conflict resolution training, and be available to travel the province when required to assist members in conflict. These are voluntary positions but members of the MSRB have their expenses covered by OSSTF/FEESO.

Bargaining Unit Presidents will be contacted regarding any individuals who are being considered to ensure that time release is possible.
