Employee Life and Health Trust Advisory Work Group – Member Vacancy
The Provincial Executive is seeking to fill one (1) vacancy on the Employee Life and Health Trust (ELHT) Advisory Work Group. The term commences immediately and is for the remainder of a three-year term that expires at the end of the 2023-24 Federation year.
The ELHT Advisory Work Group consists of representatives from Bargaining Units whose Members are eligible for coverage under the provincial OSSTF/FEESO Benefits Plan.
The Member selected to be part of the work group must be able to secure release time from their employer (paid for by OSSTF/FEESO). The work group meets a minimum of twice annually, with additional meetings held as necessary.
Bylaw 12.6.13.1 states that:
The ELHT Advisory Work Group shall advise the OSSTF/FEESO ELHT on any matters related to the provincial benefits plan (A.16).
Any Member in good standing and from a Bargaining Unit whose Members are eligible for OSSTF/FEESO benefits under the ELHT can apply.
Applicants are encouraged to complete the voluntary self-identification form and submit it with their statement of interest, video, or other document(s). The storage and use of this self-identification data will not be tied to any identifying information.
