Strike Action by Federal Public Service Alliance of Canada Members

On April 19, over 155,000 Public Services Alliance of Canada (PSAC) members working for the federal Treasury Board and Canada Revenue Agency began strike action.

The Canadian Labour Congress (CLC) has called on labour affiliates to show their support and solidarity for striking PSAC workers by joining them on picket lines when possible. OSSTF/FEESO members are encouraged to consider joining a picket line during non-work hours to show their support.

Members can find the nearest picket line by going to the PSAC Join a Picket Line Near You online tool. The CLC also encourages members to show their support by:

• Sharing PSAC’s social media posts with your own messages of solidarity using the hashtag #WorkersCantWait
• Bringing food or drinks for the picketers
• Honking when you pass a picket line to show support
