The Public Services Health & Safety Association: Safety in Schools – A Survey on Workplace Violence Prevention Practices

The Public Services Health & Safety Association (PSHSA) is a Safe Workplace Association (SWA) funded by the Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development (MLITSD). The PSHSA has recently received a time-limited grant from the MLITSD and OSSTF/FEESO is asking for members to support the project by completing the survey.

By completing this anonymous survey, you will directly contribute to developing a violence risk assessment tool for elementary and secondary schools in Ontario. The survey takes only 8-15 minutes to complete and will be available until December 22, 2023.

In addition to the survey, PSHSA will be conducting focus groups and a workplace violence-specific root cause analysis workshop early in 2024. The survey provides an opportunity to indicate if you would like to participate in either activity.
