Workers Health and Safety Centre Low to No Cost Training Opportunities
The Workers Health and Safety Centre (WHSC) has received some time limited funding from the Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development (MLITSD) to provide a program called Low to No Cost Training (see www.whsc.on.ca). OSSTF/FEESO Provincial Office has approved participation in the program and several training opportunities are available in advance of the deadline of March 31, 2024. There are several training courses in this program being offered in January 2024, February 2024, and March 2024.
Training Courses
- Workplace Health and Safety Awareness
- Workplace Violence and Harassment
- Psychosocial Hazards and Workplace Mental Health
As a reminder, these courses are eligible for funding through Account #2015 – Union/Health and Safety Training Programs. It may be possible to schedule additional courses and/or in-person courses for a specific District/Bargaining Unit.
