Canadian Teachers’ Federation (CTF/FCE) Podcast on Issues Facing Public Education

Shadow on wall in grey classroom

The Canadian Teachers’ Federation (CTF/FCE) Source podcast is producing a series focused on the most pressing issues facing public education in Canada today.

This series will gather evidence to paint a picture of what’s missing and explore possible solutions for restoring Canada’s public education system. The podcast will be called ABSENT.

With the objectives of bringing awareness to the working and learning conditions in schools, while generating empathy and advocating to generate systemic change, this series will target policy makers and elected leaders, along with parents, concerned citizens, and teacher advocates.

The aim of the podcast is to humanize people’s experiences working and learning in Canada’s public education system by highlighting real stories from teachers, educators, and students.

Here’s where you can be part of the action:

Members are invited to share their experiences of working/learning in the public education system in a short voice memo or a written excerpt. Submissions will remain anonymous.

If you are interested, please complete the Expression of Interest Form from the CTF/FCE.

For any questions or more information, please contact Julieanna Mawko, CTF/FCE Public Affairs Associate at jmawko@ctf-fce.ca.
