Environmental Advisory Work Group Vacancies

The Provincial Executive is seeking to fill two 3-year terms on the Environmental Advisory Work Group (EAWG) for the 2024–2025 Federation Year.

The role of the EAWG is to advise the Provincial Executive on any matters related to environmental issues within the Federation and any other matters that may be referred to it by the Provincial Executive. Members of the EAWG can serve concurrently on other OSSTF/FEESO Provincial Standing Committees or Councils.

The Provincial Executive is looking for Members who:

• Have some expertise and knowledge in the area of environmental issues
• Are willing to work collaboratively with others
• Demonstrate an ability to see a provincial perspective

All costs associated with attending meetings, including time release from work and other expenses will be covered by Provincial Office. Applicants will need to verify that they are able to secure time release through their Bargaining Unit by contacting their local president.
