OSBCU–June 6th Paint the Province Purple event details

On Saturday, June 6th, CUPE-OSBCU is proud to Paint the Province Purple in support of publicly funded education, and we would greatly appreciate your support.

CUPE-OSBCU locals have organized door-to-door canvasses in Progressive Conservative ridings and community outreach events across Ontario to speak with parents, caregivers, and community members about how the Provincial Government’s understaffing crisis is affecting schools and students. Participants will be invited to sign petitions and display lawn and window signs in support of publicly funded education.

We invite members from ETFO, OSSTF, OECTA, and AEFO to join us on June 6th. A full list of events, with more being added each week, is available on the OSBCU website here: OSBCU – Paint the Province Purple

We ask that you please share this with your members and encourage them to RSVP for a canvass or outreach event in their area. Everyone is welcome to participate—teachers, education workers, parents, community members, and children.

No experience is necessary. Local outreach leads will welcome participants, provide a brief orientation, and distribute all required materials, including lawn and window signs.
