Press Start CoLab High School Program

About the Program

Press Start CoLab is a 7-week team-based program where Ontario high school students develop real solutions to youth mental health challenges—and pitch for grant funding to bring their ideas to life.

Student teams collaborate with peers, their teacher group leader, and Press Start mentors, to take an idea from concept to funded project.  Teams choose a sub-focus area that matters to them:

Sub-Focus Areas:

• De-Stigmatizing Mental Health
• Building Confidence and Self-Image
• Creating Safe Spaces for Connectedness

Throughout the program, students are supported by mentors, inspired by a challenge speaker, and equipped with practical tools for idea creation, collaboration, and project planning.
