Application for Provincial Standing Committees and Councils

Applications for terms or co-options are being sought to fill vacancies for the 2026-2027 Federation year.

Below is a list of Provincial Standing Committees and Councils with vacancies:

• 2SLGBTQIA+: two (2) co-options
• Comité des services en langue française (CSLF): three (3) terms
• Communications and Political Action Committee (CPAC): one (1) co-option
• Educational Services Committee (ESC): one (1) co-option
• Human Rights Committee (HRC): two (2) terms and two (2) co-options
• Status of Women Committee (SWC): one (1) co-option

Reminders:

• A co-option is a short-term appointment for a period of up to one year to a committee or council, or an appointment to fill a mid-term vacancy of less than one year on a committee or council.
• While there may not be term vacancies, each committee or council can always recommend to Provincial Council for the co-option of members as necessary or as determined by the committee or council.
