Ontario Liberal Leadership Race: Key Dates, Candidate Meetings, and Next Steps

The Ontario Liberal Party (OLP) leadership race is underway, with party members set to choose the party’s next leader in November 2026. OSSTF/FEESO continues to monitor the contest and engage with candidates in a non-partisan manner focused on advancing OSSTF/FEESO’s priorities.

To date, OSSTF/FEESO has met with two of the five candidates, Lee Fairclough and Stephanie Bowman, to discuss issues important to OSSTF/FEESO members and the future of publicly funded education. Additional meetings with leadership candidates may be considered if requested by the respective campaigns.
