Persons Living with Disability(ies) Advisory Work Group
The Persons Living with Disability(ies) Advisory Work Group is an advisory body to the Provincial Executive that advises on matters related to issues affecting persons living with disability(ies) in the Federation, including ways to improve equity, accessibility, and accountability.
The Provincial Executive is seeking 10 Members-at-Large, who self-identify as living with a disability(ies), to serve on this work group for the 2024–2025 Federation year.
The work group will meet a minimum of four (4) times during the 2024-2025 Federation year and will present a report and recommendations to the Annual Meeting of the Provincial Assembly (AMPA) 2025. All costs associated with attending meetings, including time release from work and other expenses will be covered by Provincial Office. Applicants will need to verify that they are able to secure time release through their Bargaining Unit by contacting their local president.
