CALLING NEW MEMBERS! New Member Engagement Advisory Work Group

Have you been a member of OSSTF/FEESO for eight years or less?  As a new member, would you like to share your perspective on education and unionism?

OSSTF/FEESO is seeking up to eight new members to serve on the New Member Engagement Advisory Workgroup (NMEAWG).

• Meetings take place three times per year in Toronto or online.
• Provincial OSSTF/FEESO pays all costs based on provincial spending guidelines.
• No local or provincial union leadership experience is required.

Joining the NMEAWG is a great way to learn more about OSSTF/FEESO and provide your feedback. You’ll be part of a diverse group of new members from across the province and job classes, all with unique perspectives to share.

Members selected to be part of the NMEAWG must be able to secure time release from their employer, which is paid for by OSSTF/FEESO. Applicants should verify with their local president that there are no restrictions on time release from their Bargaining Unit. Individuals appointed to the NMEAWG and their Bargaining Unit President will be notified following approval by the Provincial Executive.
