Canadian Teachers’ Federation (CTF/FCE) News and Updates: Gender Equality Week in the Classroom—September 22 to 28
Gender Equality Week 2024 takes place from September 22 to 28.
This week is dedicated to raising awareness about the ongoing efforts to eliminate gender disparities and promote inclusivity throughout Canadian society.
The classroom should provide a safe space for learning and open dialogue, where people come together to exchange ideas, share perspectives, and inspire positive change. By recognizing and celebrating the richness of our collective diversity, both within education and beyond, we can foster a strong sense of community and work together to build a better world.
Join CTF/FCE in promoting this important observance by sharing these sample messages and downloadable visuals on your social media channels.
