Equity Matters: OSSTF/FEESO Equity Updates to Provincial Council

The OSSTF/FEESO Action Plan to Support Equity, Anti-Racism, and Anti-Oppression is a strategic initiative by the Ontario Secondary School Teachers’ Federation designed to create a more inclusive, equitable, and anti-oppressive environment within the organization and its affiliated spaces. This plan aims to address systemic barriers, promote anti-racist practices, and support diversity and inclusivity with the federation, as well as publicly funded education in Ontario and the communities we serve.

This plan is a collective effort that actively and collaboratively dismantles oppressive structures within education and beyond. Your participation and support are crucial to its success.

The OSSTF/FEESO Provincial Executive provides an Equity Update at each Provincial Council. This report focuses on progress, new initiatives, resources and training opportunities, policy changes or recommendations or case studies showcasing the positive impacts of the equity work that OSSTF/FEESO members are making.
