Professional Student Support Personnel (PSSP) are the unsung heroes of our education system, providing essential supports for students’ mental health, safety, and academic success. From psychologists to speech-language pathologists, social workers, child and youth care practitioners, and more, these experts make a difference in every community across Ontario.

However, the Ford government’s cuts to education funding have severely impacted the vital services these professionals provide. Despite the challenges, PSSP members continue to step up, giving their all to support students with fewer resources than ever before.
