On Wednesday, February 19, 2025, OSSTF/FEESO and key organizations representing publicly funded education in Ontario released a joint statement raising urgent concerns about the state of schools.
Ontario’s publicly funded education system is at a critical juncture, struggling with severe staff shortages, chronic underfunding, and a growing lack of respect for educators and students alike. These challenges put the future of high-quality learning at risk.
