Pride Across the Province

OSSTF/FEESO is pleased to continue supporting province-wide Pride celebrations. The recognition and support of 2SLGBTQIA+ members, students, families, and communities are essential to the solidarity work done by OSSTF/FEESO and other labour organizations. As plans for local Pride celebrations across the province are announced, you are encouraged to get involved and show your support.

Pride Items for Local Events Featuring Our OSSTF/FEESO Pride Logos and Dropbox with 2SLGBTQIA+ Resources

OSSTF/FEESO is awaiting delivery of a limited quantity of Pride swag that can be handed out at local Pride events. We have four items this year:

• branded markers
• colouring books (designed and printed by OSSTF/FEESO Graphics and Production team)
• NEW holographic stickers, and
• gymnastic ribbons (available in limited quantities).

This year, we have reenvisioned the OSSTF/FEESO Pride Resources – Dropbox. It contains essential and relevant 2SLGBTQIA+ resources, the OSSTF/FEESO Pride logo, and other Pride graphics.

OSSTF/FEESO Pride items from the last few years will be available for Local Districts to purchase from the OSSTF/FEESO Boutique.

Local Pride Matters!

This year, we would like to highlight local Districts and their involvement in local Pride events. To help us accomplish this, we are encouraging local Districts to:

• Take photos and/or videos of your involvement at local Pride community events and share them on social media, tagging our provincial accounts on Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), and Bluesky (@osstf).
• You can also send photos/videos directly to photos@osstf.ca and copy stoby@osstf.ca on the email.

When you do, your District will be entered into a raffle to win a prize package, including a new Pride umbrella, Pride T-shirts, and other OSSTF/FEESO items.

Toronto Pride Involvement

OSSTF/FEESO will again be represented at Toronto Pride, including hosting a table at the Pride Street Fair from Saturday, June 27, to Sunday, June 28, and this year walking in the Pride Parade with the Ontario Federation of Labour (OFL) and other education affiliates on Sunday, June 28, 2026.

We will seek volunteers to participate in the Street Fair and Pride Parade with an upcoming D/BU that will share more information about those details. Information about Pride Toronto’s events can be found at the Pride Toronto 2026 website.
