Friends of Grassy Narrows—River Run 2026

OSSTF/FEESO and the provincial First Nations, Métis, and Inuit Advisory Work Group are inviting members to participate with Grassy Narrows youth and community members in an action to achieve mercury justice and freedom on Wednesday September 23rd 2026 at 12 p.m. in Toronto.

Grassy Narrows people are powerful leaders in the movement for Indigenous sovereignty and environmental justice. They have shown that together we can fight for justice against all odds and make real gains. But so much is still needed to right the wrong of mercury poisoning in Grassy Narrows.
