Ontario Health Coalition—Get On Board rally

The Ontario Health Coalition is holding a province-wide day of action on Thursday, May 28, 2026, to protest hospital privatization in Ontario. The “Get On Board: Stop Doug Ford’s Hospital Privatization Train Wreck” rally will bring participants from communities across the province to Toronto for a noon gathering at Union Station, followed by a march to Queen’s Park.

Free transportation has been coordinated through VIA Rail and GO Transit, coming  from several communities including Aldershot, Barrie, Brampton, Guelph, Kitchener, Mississauga, Niagara, Oakville, Oshawa, Kingston, London, Ottawa, Windsor, Woodstock, and more.

This event is encouraged to be shared with community groups and allies in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area to show support for protecting Ontario’s public hospital system.
